"I envisioned reclaimed wood as the signature material for this store location because of the natural beauty of its weathered effect and variation in color. The material was stable enough to be incorporated into a ceiling element creating a sculptural appearance. At the recommendation of our ASI representative, Sarah McGrath, the barnwood  she suggested was the perfect choice – it met all the building codes and my budget requirements.The coordinated flooring that was supplied also by ASI performs up to Starbucks’ high expectations. I enjoy working with ASI,  they are responsive and knowledgeable about delivering my design vision."
