"Architectural Systems greatly aided our designers in bringing their vision to fruition.  Our theme was water this year and the ASI Sculptured panels fulfilled and surpassed our expectations.  Utilizing your textured wall panels in our trade show booth produced an immediate and positive response from all our visitors. Not only were the patterns consistent panel to panel, but the continuation of the pattern from each panel to the next was flawless.

It was a pleasure doing business with a company that went above and beyond to get their product out to us on a short deadline.  The professionals at ASI managed to take the stress out of the situation.  Great job, and you have a superb product.  Pico North America will certainly make more use of your product line on future and subsequent projects."

"As we all know, finding a white or off white wood floor that looks as good a year later as it did the first day it was installed is always a challenge. Architectural Systems helped us to achieve a beautiful ivory stained bamboo floor that Bloomingdale’s can easily maintain. ASI supplied all the wood floors for this project, which also included black and chocolate stained oak flooring. I like to be informed about all of the potential pros and cons of a product when I request a sample, and ASI did a great job of providing me with the information I needed to inform my client. The samples arrived in a timely fashion, as Architectural Systems was always available to address any issues or questions."

"Our objective for the Lucy project was to create a more dynamic and energetic store environment with a clean, precise aesthetic to reflect the company's focus on performance activewear. We also wanted a design palette with softness and warmth.

By pairing two very different ASI Flooring materials, Ecotextures® - Flooring & Porcelain Collection, we created a sense of movement and helped define different merchandising zones in the space.

The team at Lucy, including Dawn Eikenberry, Director of Store Development, and Letitia Barajas, Visual Merchandising Manager, relied heavily on the expert team at ASI to achieve not only our design goals but our operational goals as well. We found products within our budget that we knew would last in our heavily trafficked stores. We are very pleased with the results."

"Aside from its breathtaking views of the Lincoln Center and Central Park, the inspiration for the design of the Rowe Residence stems from the New York idea of “luxury entertaining.” The spaces use a playful yet sophisticated mix of materials, artwork and iconic furniture pieces. The space’s circular pattern systematically links ASI flooring and a track lighting system together to lead a guest along the “great path” which stretches from the entrance to the dining room. To create this path, Architectural Systems provided a beautiful Brazilian cherry wood floor for the space that not only pleased me as the designer with its sophisticated aesthetic, but also eased the client with its cost efficiency. ASI’s professionalism, delicate eye to craft and customer service is ahead of its game and is why I continue to return to this major resource again and again."

“With the Japonais concept, we wanted to blend the feeling of modern-day Japan with European elegance.  I believe restaurant design is like theater – you’re setting the stage for the space to dazzle the guests. One way to create drama and excitement is to add glass, including the use of mirror along the outer walls, as we did in Japonais.  The antique mirror finish adds layers of interest, and it was a pleasure working with ASI to make our vision of the space come together.”

"We recently specified Kozo® translucent panels for the lobby of an independent cinema. The Red River Theatres occupies the two basement levels of a seven story building. Given the lack of natural light, we decided to incorporate multiple indirect lighting sources throughout. Patrons quickly forget they are in the sub basement some twenty feet below grade especially when they see the cheery backlit surfaces of the Kozo® panels.

When the job was completed, the project superintendent was so impressed with how easy it was to work with Architectural Systems, Inc. he thanked us for specifying the Kozo® panels! Usually, we only hear about the problems. All thanks go to the ASI team."

Riley Johndonnell - Designer, Surface Magazine

Featuring ASI Wood PanelsSculptured™ Collection — Primed MDF — WPMAS012

"The Hotel Union Square project was a great challenge. The real goal was to create an aesthetic which wouldn't date itself in five years and would appeal to a broad spectrum of tastes. The high ceilings draw the eye upwards, and are visible from the street, so I wanted a signature branding idea for the ceiling. The Sculptured panels serve as art and light fixture, while cloaking unsightly mechanicals.

As a long time fan of Architectural Systems Inc., I knew I could count on them to deliver a variety of cost efficient and impactful solutions. The hotel owners sought to value engineer many alternatives with various contractors, and in the end Architectural Systems was the clear resolve."

“Our challenge was to create a sleek, cool interior environment with modern lines and minimalist details while supporting the merchandise story of the Harvey Nichols luxury brand. Callison visited the ASI showroom to source material samples to present to the client. The flooring in the merchandise areas is mostly hard surfaces. ASI helped us source natural and agglomerate flooring sections that support the bright and edgy atmosphere of Harvey Nichols. Anchor Blue, Coral Springs, FL

Twenty Four Seven, Inc.

Featuring Cubic® Concrete Elements — Custom Distressed Logo

“The inspiration for Anchor Blue came from Downtown Los Angeles, where everything is always being repurposed. We wanted the store to have a loft/warehouse feel, with a design that conveyed authenticity and permanence; essentially creating a look that seemed like it had been there forever. ASI turned that vision into a reality, suggesting ASI Cubic® Concrete panels to create an authentic style exuding the convergence of old and new. They also helped us distress our logo, which consistently draws praise. We opened 14 stores in this prototype in 2006, and all new 2007 stores and remodels will mirror this design. ASI provides great customer service, making you feel like you are a part of the family.”

"The client wanted to create a culture around food and wine. We designed a restaurant and gourmet shop that carries some of the world's finest French/Mediterranean-inspired foods. The presentation is simple, but the food is of the highest quality. To reinforce this, we wanted the environment to be elegant without being intimidating. Instead of using tablecloths, I insisted that the client use real wood veneer on the tables. Since wood veneer has maintenance issues, the client proposed plastic laminate instead. I was quite disappointed when I saw the laminates their cabinet maker provided, and didn't think we could make this work. Architectural Systems, Inc. proved otherwise. I took the client to the ASI booth at the HDBoutique show in Miami, where they were displaying an amazing collection of decorative laminates that looked so real we couldn’t tell they were fake. We knew immediately that we'd found our solution. The tables are in and the restaurant, with its elegant yet casual atmosphere, is getting fabulous reviews!"
